Hoofpainting

Of my three vintage ponies, Morning Glory is the artistic one. Doing this made me think that pegasi could probably do some awesome murals. No scaffolding needed!

Getting a paint effect with colored pencils was an interesting challenge. I wanted to see just how obvious it was when I didn't layer colors. Any given part of MG is at least four shades blended. The paint is one solid color (Mulberry), with a little bit of black and white where it's three dimensional (on her hoof, on the drips). I think it worked.
